A spokesperson for the Met said: “We are investigating a report of criminal damage after several car tyres were slashed in the Kentish Way area of Bromley on the afternoon of Saturday, August 12.
“Officers have been in contact with the owners of the cars and have obtained a photo of a suspect. Enquiries are ongoing to locate him.”
Protests have been taking place against the ULEZ expansion which comes into force on August 29.

A scrappage scheme will soon be in place, meaning Londoners can claim £2,000 if they are scrapping an old, non-compliant vehicle.
But critics argue that the costs of replacing a vehicle mean the charge will have the greatest impact on the least well-off Londoners.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan previously argues that the policy is vital for the environment and for the health of Londoners.
