Tyler McDermott, Tottenham: Tyrese Barnett and Leo Reid charged with murder

Two men have been charged with the murder of a teenager in Tottenham.
Tyler McDermott, 17, died in hospital after being shot in Tottenham on Thursday, April 13.

Hide AdTyrese Barnett, 19, of no fixed address and Leo Reid, 19, of Tulse Hill, were arrested on Saturday.
They were charged the following day with murder.
Barnett was also charged with the attempted murder of another male and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Reid was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
Both are due to appear in custody at Highbury Magistrates’ Court today.

Hide AdA Met Police investigation was launched after police were called at approximately 4.20am on Thursday to reports of a male injured in Norman Road. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found Tyler suffering from a gunshot injury.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but died on Friday afternoon. His family continue to be supported by specialist Met Police officers.
