A 47-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in east London.

Police and paramedics found the victim on Chester Road, near Seven Kings High Road, Redbridge, at 9.53pm on Monday.

He was found with a stab wound, and taken to an east London hospital where his condition is “not life threatening”.

A knife was found nearby after being traced by a police blood dog.

Chester Road was closed by officers last night, according to pictures from Instagram account ig1_ig2.

There have been no arrests so far.
