Romford: Man left seriously injured after attack

The suspect is described as aged approx 20-25, with short curly hair on top with shaved sides. He was wearing dark trousers and a purple hoodie.

A man was found unconscious after being attacked in Romford, the Met Police has said.

The 21-year-old victim was found unresponsive by officers at around 3.15am on Saturday on Western Road.

He suffered a broken nose and head injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains.

It was established that the victim had been walking in the street after a night out with friends when he had a brief interaction with another man, who then assaulted him before making off.

The suspect is described as aged approx 20-25, with short curly hair on top with shaved sides. He was wearing dark trousers and a purple hoodie.

There have been no arrests at this time.
