Plaistow stabbing: 12-year-old boy knifed in east London as two men arrested

A 12-year-old boy has been stabbed in Plaistow, east London, as two men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Met Police officers rushed to Brooks Road, Newham, at 8.17pm yesterday (Tuesday, August 30) after reports of a stabbing.

Hide AdA boy, aged 12, was found with a stab injury, and treated at the scene.
He was then taken to hospital; where his condition was found not to be life-threatening.
One man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of GBH, the force said.
While another, aged in his 60s, was arrested on suspicion of affray, the Met added.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said: “Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. A crime scene remains in place.”
