A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with causing death by careless driving after a fatal collision in a marked police car.
A 23-year-old man Andrew Brown, who was walking at the time died in hospital following the incident.

Hide AdPC Daniel Francis, 33, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
The crash occurred in Whitton Road, Hounslow, on November 1, 2019.
PC Francis, of the West Area Command Unit which covers Hounslow, Hillingdon and Ealing, was the driver of the vehicle.
The charges follow an investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) and a referral to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

Hide AdA spokesperson for the force said: “The Metropolitan Police Service has fully co-operated at every stage.
“PC Francis, who was the driver of a marked police car, remains on restricted duties at this time.
“Misconduct matters will be considered at the conclusion of criminal proceedings.
“Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Andrew Brown, 23, who sadly died in hospital following the collision.”
