A man has been stabbed to death just metres away from St Paul’s Cathedral.
City of London Police officers are appealing for information about the brutal attack in the Gresham Street area, close to the iconic landmark.

Detectives scrambled to the scene at 11.30pm on Sunday night, and found a man, thought to be in his 30s, suffering from serious stab wounds.
Officers carried out emergency CPR on the victim and he was rushed to the Royal London Hospital, where he sadly died.
City of London Police said that a number of people were in the area at the time of the incident and officers would like anyone with further information to come forward.

The force said this can be done anonymously and in confidence.
Cordons were in place throughout the day on Monday.
