Islington: Fatal stabbing victim named as Mohamed Abdi-Noor

A 21-year-old man died in hospital in the early hours of Tuesday following a stabbing in Tufnell Park Road, Islington.

A 21-year-old man who was stabbed to death in north London has been named as Mohamed Abdi-Noor.

Police were called at 7.27pm on Monday night (December 11) to reports of a fight on Tufnell Park Road, Islington.

Abdi-Moor, was found with stab wounds and was taken to hospital by ambulance but died in the early hours of Tuesday. 

His family has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers, the Met said.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with his murder and will appear at Highbury Youth Court today (Wednesday December 13)/

Investigations are ongoing and police have appealed for witnesses.
