Man charged with kidnap after girl, 9, taken from Knightbridge

A man has been charged with the kidnap and assault of a nine-year-old girl in Knightsbridge.

A child was reported missing at 2.44pm Monday April 22 after last being seen on Brompton Road. The girl has since been reunited with her family.

Robert Prussak, 56, of no fixed abode was remanded in custody and appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday April 24.

He was charged with kidnap and sexual assault of a female under 13 years old.

He was also charged with administering a substance with the intention of stupefying or overpowering to enable sexual activity and committing an offence with the intent to commit a sexual offence.

Prussack was further remanded to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on May 22.
