A man has been charged with a string of indecent exposures and sexual assaults, after 11 women were sexually assaulted in north London over more than two years.

Ali Ay, of Alexandra Park Road, Muswell Hill, was charged last week with 10 counts of indecent exposure and nine counts of sexual assault.

It comes after Met Police detectives investigated a series of sexual assaults on lone women aged 18 to 33 by a man who exposed himself in public places in Camden and Islington.

The assaults were between April 2019 and September 2012.

The 40-year-old was charged by post on Thursday, March 31.

He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 13.
