In a statement posted on X, The Reclaim Party said: “This morning Laurence Fox was arrested at his home in London and has been taken to a Police Station.”

Laurence Fox has reportedly been arrested at his Stockwell home for conspiring to damage Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) cameras and encouraging further offences.

In footage posted online by The Reclaim Party, multiple officers are shown in the former actor’s home, while Mr Fox is sat on a couch smoking a cigar.

Looking into the camera, the 45-year-old says: “Look at them coming to steal everything, take everything out of my house. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the country that we live in.”

In a separate video, also posted on X, Mr Fox accuses the police of being members of London mayor Sadiq Khan’s “Stasi”, the former secret police agency in East Germany.

While not confirming whether Mr Fox had indeed been arrested or not, a Met Police spokesperson said: “On Wednesday 4, October officers arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras and encouraging or assisting offences to be committed.

“He was arrested in Stockwell and has been taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody.”

It comes a day after Mr Fox appeared on the video streaming platform Rumble, where he told host Maajid Nawaz he encourages so-called ‘blade runners’ to “tear down every single [ULEZ] camera there is”.

He added he would be “happy to be arrested myself”, and that he will be taking cameras down personally.

“I would happily sit there in court and go ‘who voted for this? What’s your evidence for the outer London cleaner air zone? What’s your evidence for doing this?’”

Mr Fox had already made headlines earlier in the day, when GB News announced both he and Calvin Robinson have been fired from the channel.

In a statement, GB News said: “Laurence Fox and Calvin Robinson were both suspended last week pending internal investigations that have now concluded.

“As of today, GB News has ended its employment relationship with Laurence Fox and Calvin Robinson.

“The internal investigation into Dan Wootton continues.”

The investigation was launched after Mr Fox, while on Mr Wooton’s GB News show, made lewd and sexist comments about PoliticsJOE reporter Ava Evans.
