Knife crime: Teenager charged with the murder of Rommel McKoy

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a teenager who was stabbed to death in south London.

The Met Police said the 17-year-old would appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

Detectives added the teenager had been remanded in custody ahead of the hearing.

Met Police officers and paramedics rushed to Hicken Road, in Lambeth, at just after 7.30pm following reports of a stabbing.

Emergency services found Rommel suffering stab injuries and took him to hospital, where he later died.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers.
