Kilburn High Road: Two people stabbed outside London Overground station

A woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital with stab wounds, while a man in his 50s also suffered a slash wound to his hand.

Two people have been stabbed in broad daylight outside a London Overground station in north London.

Police were called to Kilburn High Road at 12.04pm on Thursday April 25 to reports of a stabbing.

Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service (LAS) who treated a woman with stab wounds.

The woman, in her 20s, has been taken to hospital. Her condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.

A man, in his 50s, also suffered a slash wound to his hand. He was taken to hospital. His condition has been assessed as non life-threatening. The man and woman are known to each other.

A 21-year-old has been arrested for causing grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

He has been taken to hospital before being taken into custody.

Local roads are currently closed as a crime scene is in place.

Police enquiries are on-going into the circumstances. Witnesses are asked to come forward referencing CAD2883/25APRIL.
