Kensington High Street: Maximillian Kusi-Owusu named as fatal shooting victim

Maximillian Kusi-Owusu died in hospital after being found with a gunshot wound in Kensington High Street, in the early hours of Sunday.

A 29-year-old man who was fatally shot in west Kensington has been named as Maximillian Kusi-Owusu.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

A post-mortem examination will take place on Tuesday, September 6.

Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have launched an investigation.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday.  He was subsequently released under investigation.
