Ilford Lane stabbing: Teenage boy knifed in broad daylight in east London

A boy believed to be 15 has been stabbed in broad daylight on a busy east London road.

Emergency services were called at 3.17pm on Tuesday to Ilford Lane following reports of a stabbing.

The teenager was found with stab injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to an east London hospital.

His condition was later confirmed as not life-threatening.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “At this very early stage police are working to understand the circumstances.”

No arrests have been made so far.
