A suspect has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found stabbed to death at a home on Christmas Day.
The Met Police were called to the house yesterday (Sunday, December 25) afternoon by neighbours worried about a man inside.

When officers arrived at the property in Highbury, north London, just before 5pm they found a man in his mid-50s with knife wounds and gave him first aid.
Paramedics and an air ambulance arrived but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to a police station in north London where he is still being held being quizzed by detectives.

A post-mortem is due to be held and Scotland Yard launched an appeal for information today (Monday, December 26).
A spokesman for the Met Police said: "A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Islington.

"Police attended a residential address in Holloway Road, N7, at 4.55pm on Sunday, December 25, following concerns for the welfare of a resident.
"They found a man with a stab injury and immediately provided first aid. The London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended.”

They added: "Despite their efforts, the man – who is believed to be aged in his mid-50s – was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
"A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to a north London police station. He remains in custody.
"Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating."
