The deceased man was found with a slash wound at a property in Station Road, Hayes.

UPDATE July 18: Leo Price, 21, of Blair Close, was charged on Monday, 17 July, with one count of murder and three counts of assaulting an emergency worker.

Detectives have arrested a man on suspicion of murder after finding a male dead in a west London home.

The victim, in his mid-40s, was discovered deceased at a property in Station Road, Hayes. Police were called to the home just before 10am on Saturday (July 15), to reports of the dead man inside.

He was found with a slash wound, and his death is being treated as unexpected. His family have been informed.

At around 3.30am on Sunday, officers arrested a man on suspicion of murder. He was taken to a west London police station, where he remains in custody.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
