A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder of Harry Pitman on New Year's Eve.
The teenage defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Highbury Magistrates Court on Saturday morning (January 6).
Harry Pitman, 16, was stabbed on Primrose Hill, Camden, at around 11.40pm on Sunday December 31.
Officers provided first aid before paramedics arrived, but Harry died at the scene shortly before midnight.
Following a public appeal by detectives, two teenagers aged 15 and 17, were identified and arrested on Thursday. The 17-year-old boy was released on bail.
The Met Police says three other boys, who were originally arrested in connection with the murder, will have no further action taken against them.
Update: The Met Police originally stated that the boy charged was 15. The force has since corrected this to say he was 16.
