Hackney: Elderly woman dies after being struck by bus outside Tesco - police investigation

A woman has died from her injuries after being struck by a bus in Hackney.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information about the collision on Thursday January 4.

Police were called shortly before 5.10pm to the scene of the incident near the Tesco store in Morning Lane.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended, and an 85-year-old woman was taken to hospital. She died there on Monday January 8.

Police say her next of kin have been informed.
