Gants Hill stabbing: Teen taken to hospital with ‘slash’ injury

A teenager has been rushed to hospital after being slashed with a knife in Gants Hill.
Police were called at 5.15pm on Thursday to reports of a group of people with a blade in Frinton Mews, Redbridge.

Hide AdFootage circulating on social media shows a crowd of men in an apparent stand off.
Officers rushed to the scene and found a 19-year-old man nearby suffering from a slash injury.
He was taken to an east London hospital by paramedics.
Scotland Yard said: “His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
“At this early stage, there have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”
