Euston church shooting: Camden and Brent men charged after two young girls and four women injured

Two more men have been charged following a shooting in which two young girls and four women were injured.
The drive-by shooting happened as mourners were leaving a funeral at St Aloysius Church in Euston, Camden, on January 14.

Hide AdTwo girls aged seven and 11 were among the victims, and a 48-year-old woman remains in hospital.
Tyrell La Croix, 22, from Camden, and Jordan Walters, 23, from Brent, were each charged on Wednesday with six counts of Section 18 wounding with intent.
Both are due to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today (March 16).
Superintendent Jack Rowlands, who is leading Camden’s Neighbourhood Policing teams, said: “This shooting had a profound impact on our community and my thoughts today are with them and with the victims who were injured.

Police were called at 1.30pm on Saturday January 14 to reports of a shooting in Phoenix Road.
Officers responded with medics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

Hide AdFour women aged 48, 54, 41, 21 and two little girls, aged 11 and seven, were taken to hospital where their injuries were not life threatening. The 48-year-old woman remains in hospital undergoing treatment.
In addition to the latest charges, Alrico Nelson Martin, 19, from Kilburn, appeared at Willesden Magistrates Court on Wednesday, charged with possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life and six counts of conspiracy to wound with intent. He was remanded in custody to appear at Harrow Crown Court on April 12 .
A 22-year-old man was arrested on January 15 on suspicion of attempted murder. He was subsequently released on bail to return on a date in April pending further enquiries.
