Elizabeth line train 'racially aggravated assault' near Paddington - images released by police

British Transport Police (BTP) has issued images of two women officers want to identify as part of an investigation into a report of a racially aggravated assault on the Elizabeth line.

Video has circulated on social media of an incident on a train travelling towards Paddington.

BTP says a racially aggravated assault at approximately 10pm on Sunday (October 29) was reported.

Police say the victim, a 20-year-old woman, was "assaulted by two young women".

Detectives have issued CCTV images of two women they want to speak to.

BTP says detectives believe the women in the images "may have information which could assist their enquiry".
