Earls Court: Six injured as Met Police van collides with vehicle

Road closures are in place on Wednesday morning after six people were injured in a collision involving a police vehicle.

Three police officers and three members of the public were injured in a crash in the early hours of Wednesday (December 20).

At shortly after 5am a police van collided with a vehicle on Warwick Road, near Earls Court.

The Met Police said in a statement that six people were treated at the scene but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Road closures are in place in West Cromwell Road and Warwick Road at Old Brompton Road.

Full Met Police statement: "Shortly after 5am on Wednesday, December 20, a police van was in collision with a second vehicle on Warwick Road, SW5. Emergency services attended.

"Six people, including three police officers, were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital; their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

"Road closures are in place. The Directorate of Professional Standards will be informed."
