David and Victoria Beckham’s west London mansion was burgled when they were still at home with their 10-year-old daughter.

The couple’s £40 million Holland Park home was broken into between 8.30pm and 11.30pm on 28 February.

The Sun reported that the burglary was discovered by their 17-year-old son Cruz, after returning from a night out with friends.

He had noticed that a spare bedroom had been ransacked while his parents were in the house, with glass from the broken window lying on the floor.

It is believed that thousands of pounds of designer and electrical items had been stolen.

A Met spokesman said: “Police were called at 0.37am on Tuesday March 1 to reports of a burglary at a residential address in the W11 area of Kensington.

“The burglary is believed to have taken place between 8.30pm and 11.30pm on Monday, February 28.

“A number of items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made. Inquiries continue.”
