David Ackerley murder investigation, Hounslow: Search for Jack Hill or 'Jimmy Brazil' by detectives
David Ackerley was found dead at his home in Boston Manor Road, on the boundary between Hounslow and Ealing.
Police have released images of a man they are looking for as part of a murder investigation in west London.
David Ackerley, was found dead at his home in Cedar Court, Boston Manor Road on October 8 after being reported missing at about 9.30am that morning.
Detectives are looking for Jack Hill, who they want to speak to in relation to this matter. Mr Hill is sometimes known as 'Jimmy' or 'Jimmy Brazil'.
He is a white man, believed to be aged around 22, approximately 6ft 2ins tall, of an athletic/medium build with hazel eyes. He has dark blond/light brown curtain style hair and a surgical scar on his right wrist.
Police say the victim is believed to have been assaulted outside his home between 6.15pm and 6.30pm on Saturday, September 30.
Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Grogan said: "David's grieving family have many questions about what happened to him, and we are now trying to provide them with answers.
"A man has lost his life and it's important that we uncover what happened to get justice for David and his family.
"This is why it's really important that anyone who knows the whereabouts of Jack Hill, or has any information that might help us with our investigations, should get in touch.
“Please look at these images carefully. Do you recognise this man? Do you have any information about his whereabouts?"
On October 19 Met Police officers arrested a man aged 33 and a woman aged 35 in the Uxbridge area on suspicion of murder and theft.
