Daniel Khalife: Chiswick the centre of police search following confirmed signings

The search for former soldier and terrorism suspect, Daniel Abed Khalife, is being focussed in and around Chiswick, police have confirmed.

A manhunt has been underway since Wednesday morning (September 6), when the 21-year-old seemingly escaped from Wandsworth Prison via the bottom of a Bidfood van.

Officers are now planning further searches around Chiswick following confirmed sightings and intelligence-led activity.

The Met Police said it urges members to remain vigilant and call 999 immediately should they see Khalife, who from reports is believed to be wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt and dark-coloured bottoms, and carrying a small bag or case.

A spokesperson added furter updates will be provided “in due course”.
