Tooting man charged after 'dropped shotgun' injures two women in Clapham

Three people injured in a collision and by shotgun pellets in Clapham have been released from hospital.

A man will appear in court on Wednesday (March 6) following a police chase which left three people injured.

On Friday, Met Police officers pursued a moped which is alleged to have been ridden by two people and failed to stop.

A pedestrian was involved in a collision and two women sustained shotgun pellet injuries in the incident in Clapham Common South Side area.

Keymarni King, of Cromer Road, Tooting, was arrested on Monday 4 March and charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life/ enabling another to do so, aggravated vehicle taking and injury caused by an accident, and two counts wounding/ inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.

The 18-year-old will appear before Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.

Detectives are still trying to trace a second man who was believed to have been on the moped, which allegedly failed to stop.

The three injured bystanders have all been released from hospital.
