Buckingham Palace: Man charged after climbing wall and entering the Royal Mews

A 25-year-old man has been charged with trespassing on a protected site after he was caught “climbing the wall” and entering the Royal Mews, near Buckingham Palace.

Awad Mustafa, of no fixed abode, was also charged with attempted theft from a motor vehicle, as part of the same incident.

Mr Rovalino was arrested outside the stables in the Royal Mews area at 1.25am on Saturday morning (September 16) following a search.

He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today, September 18.
