Brent Cross shopping centre searched by police after email threat

Police carried out a search of Brent Cross shopping centre on Thursday morning following a threat sent by email.
The Met says nothing was found in the search of the building, which was closed to the public at the time, and that enquiries are ongoing.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said: "Police were called at approximately 9.20am on Thursday December 28 after a threatening email was sent to Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
"As a precaution, officers carried out a search of the building which wasn’t open to the public at the time. Nothing suspicious was found and the incident was stood down. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
