Boys aged seven and nine and a woman aged 47 have been found dead at an address in southeast London.

A 47-year-old woman and two boys, aged nine and seven, were found dead on Thursday at a home in Belvedere, Bexley.

Detectives have launched an investigation, led by the Met Police’s Specialist Crime Command, but they say no one else is currently being sought in connection with the incident.

Police were called at 11.50am on Thursday (March 9) to concerns for the welfare of occupants at an address in Mayfield Road.

Officers and London Ambulance Service paramedics found the woman and two children inside the property.

Police say next of kin have been notified and that post-mortem examinations will be arranged.

In a statement, the force added: “At this early stage, detectives are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation.

A crime scene remains in place.
