LondonWorld went down to Exmouth Market to get people's thoughts on the 'best place to live' tag.
Ella said: "Amazing, I'm super delighted. I've been living here for 10 years and I totally agree. You've got such an amazing mixture of people, good transport links, you're in central London. It's just a nice, nice environment, lots of independent shops - I love it."
Adrien, who cooks and sells French cuisine from a stall in the market, said: "I'm very surprised you say it's been [named] the best place to live in London. I'm not here at night, I'm here during the day and for the last year I think it's been very quiet here.

Local worker Ryan said: "It's really nice. There are lots of restaurants, lots of shops. You can get a variety of food here.
"I work here but I don't live here. I really like the place compared to my previous one."
He added: "I'm really proud of working here in one of the coolest places in London."
