Bianca Williams: Five Met Police officers face misconduct hearings for stop and search of Team GB athlete

Five Met Police officers will face a gross misconduct hearing relating to the stop and search of Team GB athlete Bianca Williams.
Williams and partner Ricardo Dos Santos were stopped while driving in west London in July 2020.

Hide AdThe five officers face allegations of breaches of standards of professional behaviour relating to ‘equality and diversity’, as well as other areas.
Acting PS Rachel Simpson, PC Allan Casey, PC Jonathan Clapham, PC Michael Bond and PC Sam Franks face hearings beginning on Monday September 18.
The hearing follows an investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
The couple accused the force of racial profiling when they were handcuffed and searched, while being separated from their three-month-old son.
