But when you live here, it’s easy to overlook these iconic landmarks, after all, we see them every day.
So we asked Londoners to tell us which landmarks they love the most and we got some great answers.
One Londoner said he loved The Tate Modern most. He described it as “a brutalist building with some beautiful works of art inside.”

Hide AdAnother enthusiastic Londoner said St Paul’s Cathedral is the best landmark, adding “it is by the river and easy to get to.”
While a third Londoner reminisced about a childhood spent climbing the Lions in Trafalgar Square.
We love the Tower of London, for its somewhat gruesome history and superstitious Raven Master.
We also love The Gherkin, in large part for its name, which is as iconic as its shape.
