Watch: Americans in London react to Trump becoming President again
Yesterday, the nation woke up to the news that Donald Trump had been elected as the 47th President of the United States.
This is the second time Trump has won the election for Presidency in America. His inauguration will take place in January 2025.

Hide AdThe Donald’s return to the White House was met with mixed reviews from celebrities, many of which were less than celebratory.
Whoopi Goldberg and Lilli Reinhart were among the stars who raised concerns about what the result could mean for women’s rights in the US.
Meanwhile, over on team Trump, boxer Jake Paul said it was “a massive step in the right direction to heal the major issues going on in the world currently.”
In his victory speech, Trump vowed he would "govern by a simple motto: Promises made, promises kept. We're going to keep our promises".

Here in the UK, the result was also met with mixed views from British politicians.
Keir Starmer has insisted that the UK-US special relationship will "prosper" under Donald Trump. He said: “As the closest of allies, we stand shoulder to shoulder in defence of our shared values of freedom, democracy, and enterprise.”
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan commented: “The lesson of today is that progress is not inevitable. But asserting our progressive values is more important than ever.”
Nigel Farage said: “Kier Starmer must roll out the red carpet for the 47th President of the USA. This is a huge opportunity to be grasped.”
