A new London restaurant will serve a range of insects - "a delicious, sustainable, and hugely undervalued superfood".
Yum Bug has announced it is opening a permanent site in the capital following a viral-hit pop-up in November near Old Street.

Looking back on the attention the initial pop up received, Yum Bug co-founder and CEO Leo Taylor said: "We've been overwhelmed by the response. With the calibre of chefs getting excited about insects and the thousands of people who have joined the waiting list to get a table shows this movement is really gaining steam.
"This year, we've got even more exciting menu partnerships lined up – to show people insects are in fact a delicious, sustainable, and hugely undervalued superfood."
Now, just a few months on, Yum Bug is set to join London's diverse restaurant scene as it opens its first permanent spot in the heart of Finsbury Park this month.

Yum Bug will have its grand official opening on February 27, following a soft launch on February 20.
Unfortunately, the soft launch is already sold out, but bug fans can book a table for after the launch on the restaurant's website.
