Salt Bae is hiring toilet attendants at his London restaurant for £11-an-hour - the same price as a Red Bull

Internet sensation Salt Bae is hiring at his expensive eatery in London - seeking a toilet attendant that would need to work for three weeks to afford his steaks.

Salt Bae’s exclusive steak restaurant Nusr-Et is known for offering extortionate prices of up to £1,500 for a steak, yet they are offering an £11-an-hour package in search of someone to service the loos.

Turkish butcher Nusret Gökçe - better known as Salt Bae - has recently opened a branch in London that has hit headlines for ridiculous prices and staff wages.

Customers have received bills as astronomic as £37,000 in one sitting, including a remarkable £4,829 service charge.

The restaurant, which can be found in Knightsbridge, Kensington and Chelsea, was in the news just last week after issuing a job advert for chefs offering a wage equal to the price of mashed spuds

On this occasion, their ideal toilet attendant will take home between £10.50 and £11 plus any tips from customers, which is just above minimum wage.

In order to afford the £1,450 golden tomahawk steak, the lucky candidate will need to graft at least 132 hours to afford to buy it - that’s a lot of loos that need to be cleaned.

The wages on offer are also equal to what Nusr-Et charges for one single can of Red Bull.

A successful applicant will have the opportunity to deal with “various bodily fluids and, on occasion, dealing directly with the public”.

The advert also reads that you must be incredibly health and safety conscious, as well as “honest, trustworthy and punctual”.

The vacancy can be found on a series of recruitment websites such as Trobajo, with the job description explaining that: “Successful applicants for this position will be responsible for the safety, security, cleanliness and proper use of our toilets in the restaurant”.

You should not expect to bump shoulders with Salt Bae himself on the job as the Instagram star is currently in the process of opening a brand new branch in Saudi Arabia.
