Primark’s flagship Oxford Street store hosts Tasty by Greggs in second collaboration with bakery chain

It is the collaboration that no one thought would occur, but somehow managed to become incredibly successful. Greggs are once again teaming up with Primark to launch their second Tasty by Greggs store at the Oxford Street East store just next to Tottenham Court Road, London.

With Primark stocking t-shirts and hoodies with Greggs branding, the crossover between the two stores was followed up with an in-store Greggs at Primark’s Birmingham location. Such was the popularity of the move , a second location, this time in London, was earmarked and set to become “the most Instagrammable Greggs in the world.”

“Following the success of the first Tasty by Greggs café in our Birmingham store, we’re delighted to be bringing the tastiest shopping experience to our London customers” Tim Kelly, Director of Business Development at Primark, declared. “The latest addition to our suite of in-store experiences in our Oxford Street East store, customers can now enjoy a tasty sausage roll and coffee to refuel while browsing the Primark products they know and love – in addition to the branded and non-branded vintage items WornWell’s opening will also bring.”

Tasty by Greggs will take over the top floor of Primark Oxford Street East, seating 110 people and will offer a menu of customer favourites, including sausage rolls, bakes, pizzas, sweet treats and freshly ground coffee. Customers strapped for time can also skip the queues via Greggs Click + Collect using the Greggs App.

Visitors to the store can also expect to see a double decker inspired bus with booths for those dining in, a Greggs phone box with interactive digital games, and a vintage style free-standing bike for those all-important social snaps. Add to that Hot Yum Yums, a recent TikTok phenomenon, it looks that Tasty by Greggs is set to be the social media influencers cafe du jour.
