Brits looking for the best villages to live in around the UK are in luck, as an extensive list produced by The Telegraph reveals the locations of the best villages in the UK, along with the average property price there.

According to Standoutcv, over the last five years, the term “remote jobs” is now Googled over 18,000 times per month in the UK – a 410% increase. And, working from home means you can essentially work from anywhere, leading to people seeking nicer places to live.

Estate agent Knight Frank, this month reported  the highest number of sales in the countryside for 15 years. And now, with the Telegraph list of the 54 poshest villages and their prices, finding the ideal place to live has never been easier.

Proximity to London is a common theme throughout the guide. Despite a rise in remote workers, London reigns supreme as the place to work in many sectors, most notably in the finance industry.
