Sunday Times best places to live: Inside this smart three-bedroom property in New Malden for £550K

Six neighbourhoods across the capital have been named as some of the best places to live in the UK, according to the Sunday Times.

The Sunday Times has just published their annual Sunday Times Best Places to Live in London guide.

The expert judges behind the guide assess different factors that determine whether a location has the essential qualities to offer a potential resident. From schools, transport to green spaces and health of the local high street.

There are six top locations, as selected by The Sunday Times, and here we are focusing on one of the six locations, New Malden, in south west London.

An estimated 20,000 Koreans reside in and around this suburb, which lends to the landscape well, with numerous Korean restaurants and grocery shops in the local high street to enjoy.

It’s a place where foodies gather, and would happily wait for hours for the more-ish all-you-can-eat barbecue. A restaurant in the area, was also used as a filming location for scenes in series three, of the hit show Killing Eve.

The area has been known to tick many boxes for house hunters, due to its strong state schools and easy connections to central London.

The average house prices within the area of New Malden is £664,000, and this property is on the market for £550,000.
