Savills has released its annual list of Britain’s most sought-after neighbourhoods.
The list reveals the most affluent suburbs across the country. These are the areas with the highest number of households with the biggest mortgages - reflecting high earnings and high house prices.

Herne Hill has been named the most desirable place to live in Britain. It was praised for its classic Victorian and Edwardian houses, open spaces, and creative crowd.
The Telegraph recommends visiting: The Sicilian Deli on Railton Road, Llewelyn’s restaurant, Lulu’s Deli and Wine Bar, and Blue Furniture for second-hand goods.
Locals love the weekly food and crafts market and the Grade II listed lido in Brockwell Park.
Between the Commons, an affluent part of south London situated between Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common, and Tooting Bec, was next on the list.
Locals love Chez Bruce, a restaurant overlooking Wandsworth Common praised for its impeccable service.
