We've put together of seven swanky London Valentine's Day spots:

1. Trullo, Highbury

Some say pasta is what dreams are made of – and we agree! Trullo offers some of the best and freshest pasta dishes in London. With a regularly changing menu of seasonal ingredients featuring a spectacular selection of roast meats, Trullo is sure to delight. And worry not – if you have a vegan or gluten free love in your life, just let the restaurant know ahead of time and they’ll be sure to accommodate. Tip: try to snag a table on the lower level. The dimly light, cavernous room transports you to an old school Italian wine cellar that sets the mood just right. Trullo is at 300-302 St Paul's Road, London, N1 2LH.

2. Noble Rot Soho

With its exceptional service and incredibly impressive wine selection, Noble Rot is simply sublime. The Soho location pays homage to Gay Hussar, the once legendary stomping ground and restaurant of choice for British politicians. The menu is curated by head chef Alex Jackson and executive chef Stephen Harris, and boasts British classics. The roast chicken, morels and vin jaunne is out of this world and an absolute 'must try'. Noble Rot Soho is at 2 Greek St, London, W1D 4NB.

3. Gymkhana, Piccadilly

This Michelin star restaurant Gymkhana is serving up some of the best Indian food in all of London. The menu is designed for sharing making it a top-notch date spot, and it offers an extensive wine and cocktail menu. Gymkhana is impeccably decorated. The ground floor evokes an Edwardian gentleman’s club adorned with elegant, vintage steamer trunks and deep-toned wood, while the lower level is saturated in vibrant orange and red fabrics with an eclectic art collection adorning its walls. Gymkhana is at 42 Albemarle St, London, W1S 4JH.

Offering French-inspired food in an intimate setting, Gauthier is the perfect spot for the foodie in your life. The restaurant is offering a nine-course Valentine’s Day menu and an optional Sommelier wine pairing. Gauthier Soho is at 21 Romilly St, London, W1D 5AF.

6. Gloria, Shoreditch

The east London restaurant has become something of an institution in the area. It is the perfect spot for the fun and funky to dine, laugh and revel in frivolity. The restaurant is flamboyant in style and oozing with colour, but this does not distract from the delicious dishes being served up. Staying true to the Big Mamma Group brand, the menu is mouth watering. Highlights include Crocchette Cacio E Pepe Al Tartfuo and Girella Di Agnello. Gloria is at 54-56 Great Eastern St, London, EC2A 3QR.
