Hide AdMarking a time of reflection, prayer, and giving, over Ramadan, Muslims abstain from eating and drinking from sunrise and sundown and engage in forms of worship throughout the day to build a stronger relationship with Allah.
The evening meal after sunset is known as Iftar and is often a time when many will dine alongside their family and friends.
While many families across the capital will tuck into home-cooked meals, a few places across London are also offering themed Iftar boxes of food.
