What better way to celebration the crowning of a new king than with gin?

Hayman’s of London is marking its 160th anniversary this year, and the firm has commissioned a limited-edition wrap to celebrate the city and the Coronation.

The family distiller has commissioned London artist Rose England to create a design featuring landmarks such as Big Ben, a black cab, a red phone box, a street lamp, a street sign and, with a nod to the gin, a perfect cocktail.

The gift wrapped bottles will be available at Waitrose from April 12.

Miranda Hayman, co-owner and a fifth generation family member of Hayman’s, said: “As the original London gin, it felt appropriate to create a giftable version of our London Dry Gin around the Coronation and also celebrate this incredible city we call home.”

Rose England said: “When Hayman’s asked me to create a limited-edition London inspired wrap, I was thrilled.

“Their delicious gin, iconic bottle and brilliant London story – I couldn’t wait to celebrate all things London in my illustration for their bottle wrap.”

Hayman’s limited-edition London inspired hand gift wrap will be available at Waitrose and online at haymansgin.com.
