Lidl has announced it is set to tour the UK with its own cola truck this festive season.

The supermarket chain has revealed its plans to launch its own carbonated drink themed  tour of the country to rival Coke.

While Coca‑Cola has become known for its Christmas Truck visits across the country during the festive season, Lidl is set to launch one of its own.

Celebrating its Freeway cola Lidl have reimagined the can into a 15 tonne, 20 metre long cylindrical truck.

The truck will stop at a total of nine cities and each stop will see the destinations transformed into a winter wonderland of sorts with gift giveaways, food samples and more.

But will the Lidl Freeway Truck stop in London? Here’s where it will stop in the UK.

Will the Lidl Christmas Freeway Cola Truck stop in London?

No. The Lidl Freeway Truck will sadly not stop in the capital however one of its scheduled visits will be in Luton which is on the outskirts of London and part of Bedfordshire. It is expected to stop in Luton on November 28.

Londoners not wanting to miss out on seeing Lidl’s Freeway Truck can get a train from St Pancras via the East Midlands Railway.
