75 at Liberty London awarded two AA rosettes just three months after opening
Seventy Five at Liberty London opened earlier this year and has some outstanding reviews!
It’s one of London’s most iconic department stores, famous for its iconic prints, luxury fabrics and distinctive mock-Tudor visage.

But Liberty is more than just your typical shop, it’s actually a mecca for London foodies.
The current Liberty store opened in 1924 and is built from the timber of two ships (HMS Hindustan and HMs Impregnable.)
Its Tudor revival architecture, complete with leaded windows, wooden balconies, and creaking staircases, gives it the feel of an old English country house, making it one of London's most atmospheric shopping destinations.
Liberty is known for curating high-end fashion, beauty, homeware, and gifts with a quirky or artistic edge - but did you know it also has a sensational food hall AND a 5 star rated restaurant?
Mini British Food Hall
Founded in September 2017, Liberty London launched the Mini British Food Hall adjacent to the Carnaby Street entrance, offering a curated range of artisan foods from UK micro-producers.
It occupies just two compact rooms (hence the name ‘mini’) but boasts a thoughtfully selected variety of premium British food and drink including luxury biscuits, old fashioned sweets, chocolates, condiments and pickles.
Highlights include Pump Street chocolate from Suffolk, Manfood beer jelly and pickles, Chilli Jam from South Devon Chilli Farm, and Scarlett & Mustard lemon curd.
Dining at 75 Liberty
Liberty first introduced a café (Café Liberty) in 2011, then relaunched Arthur’s in 2017 as its in‑house casual dining experience.
As part of its 150th anniversary in April 2025, the store replaced Arthur’s with a new destination restaurant called Seventy Five, which opened on 8 April 2025.
It’s located on the second floor, offering all‑day British‑oriented dining (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner), small plates, and curated seasonal dishes by head chef Joe Holness.
One TripAdvisor reviewer, called Breit5, rated it 5 stars and said: “Lovely meal here at the cafe at Liberty of London. It was beautiful, the food was excellent and the service was great. They served afternoon tea that looks amazing. I would definitely stop by for that if [we’re] in London again.”
Lewis T wrote: “We had an unexpected outstanding gourmet lunch today at the recently opened 75 at Liberty. I rarely rate a restaurant a five, but this is truly deserved in every way . The food was exceptional. The service was outstanding and very important to both of us. Was there extreme care to people with allergies. The menu tells you each dish and what the the most common allergy is.”
75 at Liberty was recently awarded two AA rosettes. The restaurant said: “Achieving this recognition within just three months of opening is a proud moment for the entire team & a reflection of the hard work behind the scenes every day. A huge thanks to our incredible team & everyone who’s supported us so far… we look forward to what’s next!”
Seventy Five is open from 10am until 8pm Monday - Saturday and 12pm until 6pm on Sundays. Book your table here.
