Plates restaurant London: Kirk Haworth’s Great British Menu dishes will be on the menu at his capital eatery

Great British Menu fans who’ve wanted to try Kirk Haworth’s plant based cooking from throughout the competition series will be able to in the capital at his Plates restaurant.

Having won over judges in the North West heat of the show, Kirk bagged a spot in the finals. His world themed dessert went on to bag a spot in the Olympic themed banquet menu as well as the champion of champions title of the series.

While the series has now ended, Great British Menu fans can still keep up with Kirk Haworth’s plant based cooking creation at his London based Plates restaurant.

Co-founded alongside his sister Keeley Haworth, Plates serves an array of plant-based dishes on its menu and was inspired by a change in Kirk's diet after contracting Lyme disease in 2016.

Initially starting out in 2017 and later operating from Shoreditch, Plates moved to Dalston in 2022. Its new permanent bricks-and-mortar site is set to open in the capital this spring.

What’s on the menu at Great British Menu chef Kirk Haworth’s London Plates restaurant?

The full Plates menu will be revealed upon its new opening. However the restaurant’s website has teased that Great British Menu viewers will be able to dine the dishes Kirk created for the competition including his banquet featured dessert.

This will mean fans of the show will be able to try the Ability Not Disability,  A Table Tennis Celebration, Feast Of Farah and A Taste Of Unity dishes for themselves.

When does Great British Menu chef Kirk Haworth’s London Plates restaurant open?

An opening date for Plates’ new restaurant is yet to be confirmed. However, its website states it is expected to open its doors this April/ May.
