If you're on the hunt for chocolate eggs for your little ones this Easter, here’s some places where they can get one for free.

As Easter looms closer and closer, the chocolate eggs selection on store shelves are becoming more and more sparse. But parents may still be able to bag their kids a festive offering without spending money.

A few places across the capital are set to offer kids a chance to win their own chocolate eggs over Easter weekend and the following holidays.

Here’s where kids can bag a free chocolate egg in London this Easter.

Smyths Toy stores

The toy store chain will be offering kids a chance to bag a free Barbie or Hot Wheels Easter egg nationwide this weekend.

When: Saturday, March 30 from 9am until stocks last.

Bexley Eco Festival’s Easter Family Fun Event

The free day event features an array of festive activities including a chick hunt where children can win an Easter egg to take home.

Merchant Square, Paddington 

Paddington’s Merchant Square is also offering chocolate eggs to Little ones that help put Humpty Dumpty back together over the Easter holidays.

Maltesers

While it's not an egg, chocolate brand Matlesers is set to offer Londoners some of its festive bunny shaped treats this Saturday (March 30)

To help city locals having a go at baking this easter the brand is offering a chocolate delivery service to help out any botched cakes or deserts.

All Londoners have to do is call up it's hop line (0800-5335-HOP) and they will send some chocolate bunnies to their door.
