After a decades-long quest to understand and master the wonders of citrus, Cointreau revealed the fruit of its efforts: The Citrus Series, an exclusive collection of citrus distillates specifically dreamed up for bartenders looking to elevate their craft. The result of a mastered double-distillation process, this product resembles white spirits like gin or vodka, rather than liqueurs. For the debut edition, Cointreau’s Master Distiller Carole Quiton chose the Corsican Pomelo.

Ingredients: Cointreau Citrus Series: Pomelo, Tapatio blanco Tequila, mixed citrus oils, cane syrup, sea salt.
Flavour profile: Crisp, clean and fresh. Delicately balanced with a touch of grapefruit to finish.
Containing five cocktails per bottle, each cocktail with 50ml of Blanco Tequila expertly mixed and ready to pour straight over ice.
14% ABV

About the Cointreau Citrus Series

Cointreau Citrus Series is a new range of products developed by Carole Quinton, Cointreau's master distiller. In her never-ending quest to explore the infinite world of citrus, this new range will feature a new citrus fruit in each opus. For the first opus, Cointreau has created a distillate dedicated to the Pomelo. The fruit is sourced from a single estate at the very corner of Corsica, at the foot of the Monte Renoso massif, between land and sea, where the gentle and sunny slopes of the Aleria Plain stretch. The juiciest of all, this exceptional Corsican pomelo boasts complex aromas and a perfectly balanced sugar-to-acidity ratio, with just a subtle bitterness.

Cointreau, as one of the leaders in cocktail culture and with a wealth of knowledge about the diversity of citrus fruits, wanted to create a unique product range for bartenders. This one-of-a-kind product is a specific, technical tool to challenge bartenders and create exclusive, innovative recipes.
