1. The Eagle, Old Street

This Old Street spot’s steak sandwich is apparently so good one TripAdvisor reviewer returned just to have it again and said it was just as good on their second visit.

2. Wildwood, Covent Garden

A self-confessed “steak sandwich connoisseur” said the Wildwood’s offering was the best they’d ever eaten in a past review of the Covent Garden restaurant on TripAdvisor.

3. Paris Grill, City Of London

As said in a past TripAdvisor review: “Trust a Frenchman, this is the best steak sandwich you will eat day in day out.” You can’t really argue with that.

4. The Beefsteaks, Maltby Street Market

A “big foodie and a meat lover” who “ frequently visits restaurants to search for taste perfection” described The Beefsteaks’ offering as the best they’d tried on TripAdvisor. Adding that they enjoyed the fact “the sandwich is about steak, not bread or any other ingredient that could distract you from tasting the sublime quality of meat” they said they “could eat there every single day.”

Known for its steak offerings it’s no surprise one TripAdvisor reviewer praised Flat Iron’s steak sandwich and said they couldn’t wait to go back and try it again.
