From perfect pastries to beautiful bakes, the city is alive with the sound of Sourdough!

To celebrate the city’s mouth-watering food scene, Time Out has listed the ‘best bakeries in London’ right now.

Time Out London posted on Instagram: “Whether you want fluffy naan breads from north London institutions, exquisitely made pastries, perfectly proved sourdough, or heritage-grain flaky goodness, there’s an oven in London cooking up something for you.”

The list was met with some controversy from followers who were a bit outraged that their favourite bakeries didn’t make the list.

Pophams, Eric’s, Miel Bakery, Bread By Bike, and Chatsworth Bakehouse were among the popular picks that didn’t make the list.
